Summary : Incomplete Group I ECM (Latin inscribed stone), of probable 6th century date, inside Llanddewi Brefi parish church PRNs 5135 and 5138, set against the north side of the chancel arch. It was first noted in 1746 when it was set into a stile in the southeast churchyard boundary wall, where it may have been +/- in situ. It may have gone missing until 1907, but was moved into the church between 1956 and 1964. NDL 2004, from N Edwards forthcoming A probable 6th century stone inscribed on one face DALLVS DUMELVS. Lewis Morris noted it being it used as part of a stile to the east of the church in 1746. It has now been moved inside. JH Aug 1995.
