Summary : Group II ECM (cross-carved stone with Latin inscription), of probable 7th-9th century date, and probably a grave-marker, inside Llanddewi Brefi parish church PRNs 5135 and 5138, set against the south side of the chancel arch. It was first mentioned in 1695, when it was standing in the churchyard near the church door, and may have been +/- in situ. It had been moved to a location near the southwest entrance to the church by 1876-9, and was moved to its present location between 1956 and 1964. NDL 2004, from N Edwards forthcoming
